Christine Comyn went to the Saint Luke Academy in Ghent , Belgium . In 1994 she became an instructor at the Academy of Modern Art in Tielt . She has had sell out exhibitions in germany , Switzerland , Italy , venezuela , Columbia , Russia and the United States . In 1997 Comyn received the National prize of the Belgian reference yearbook ” Artists and Galleries” . in 1998 Christine Comyn was invited by the artistic director of the Royal ballet of Flanders to produce a series of paintings inspired by ballet . Christine Comyn was given the rare privilege of unique access to the dancers , studying and sketching the dancers of the Royal ballet during closed door rehearsals .

In 1999 Christine Comyn was commissioned by Exclusief magazine to design and create an award for belgium’s most influential and creative talents in advertsing and creative film making .
